Minimize all windows and view desktop

I loved the quicklink in XP and Vista where I could minimize all open windows and view the desktop with one click. In 7 I can only open the desktop folder. How can I get a feature like in vista or XP?

    Thanks Jay

Use Aero Peek, move the mouse to the extreme right side of the task bar at the bottom of your screen. This will show the desktop unless you have Aero Peek turned off.

Also the old Shortcut keys work: Winkey+D shows desktop. Winkey+M minimizes all windows.

You can simply use the show desktop button on the far right of the taskbar. It's built so that you can either peek at the desktop or minimize everything. Simply pointing at it will let you peek, clicking will minimize everything. Clicking again will pull every back up.

@ Other guy, actually if you've disabled Aero you can still use that button to show the desktop, you just can't use the "point and show for a limited time" function aka Peek. Also, if you for some reason don't want to use Peek while using Aero, you can disable it via a right click on that button.
