    i find that if the icon stays in my start menu recent items for instance, after i have deleted a program, usually i have a folder left in program files or program files (x64). have you checked?

    4 years late... but if you still have the problem, i just had it and i just named another file the same name with the same type of file and it replaced the stuck one, but i could delete it.

remove event log of uninstalled program

Hello, I have a problem with the Event Viewer. I want to remove an event log of a program that is no longer there on my computer. For example in the Application and Services section of Event Viewer, TuneUp is there from TuneUp Utilities. I am unable to permanently delete this log. Any ideas?
Hi, I recently installed and uninstalled a program. However, the entry for the program still remains in the Installed Programs list in the Control Panel. I have examined the Registry keys under uninstall and I cannot find this program listed there to be manually deleted. How do I remove this...
So I uninstalled Adobe lightroom but it still shows up in the autoplay like in the attachment. I'm asking for help as to how to eliminate this. Thanks, Antonio
