Have you rebooted your computer after uninstalling the program?

Try uninstalling a second time, or try uninstalling in safe mode. If this is a program that you recently installed and then decided that you did not want, you can do a system restore to before you installed the program.

The program doesn't show up the Programs list anymore so I would not be able to uninstall it a second time. As for uninstalling it in safe mode, I have never tried that, but if it is already uninstalled in normal mode, then would there still be an program entry in safe mode? I can't tell until I restart my computer which won't be for a while. I turned off system restore so that is not an option.

Try Revo uninstaller or CCleaner. Do a registry cleanup.

I downloaded CCleaner and ran the registry clean up and the icon is still there. Is there any specific settings I should change?
