How do I recover an unallocated partition?

This is really easy if you use a 3rd party app like Paragon disk suite. Free to try

1-delete partition with no drive letter
2-expand the HP partition

Thats it

Right click on the C:\hp in disk manager in the drop down menu select extend C:\ then you should be good to go , it will take up the exrta space!

You cannot delete Unallocated space as it is empty deleted space already.

As suggested, in Disk Mgmt. rightclick C: to Extend it into the unallocated space.

Or....You could at this point decide to keep your files on a Data partition which you make there. This way if you lose your OS again, you have your files kept safe in their own partition until you repair or reinstall C:

Is the delete handled by Paragon disk suite? Do I need a drive leter on the unallocated partition. BTW, thank you for your quick reply.

Edit: It was for a 32 bit computer, I have a 64 bit. I just remembered, I installed Partition Wizard yesterday. I haven't used it yet. I will try and see if I am able to figure it out, and if not, I will be back for help.

If its already unallocated, it has already been deleted.

You can add that space to the neiboring partition, or create a new partition.

Some Imaging software can use a partition with no drive letter as backup space. It will be hidden from the OS however.
If you intend to use the partition for DATA, you will need a drive letter so the OS can use it.
You will have the option to assign a drive letter or no letter when you create the partition in disk management.

Well, I try to delete the unallocated partition but "delete" is ghosted. Do I need to do something with the partition before I can delete it? Here is another view of the partitions insice Partition Wizard.
