I don't have floppy drive, only CD. And the laptop comes with SusE, not Win7. I installed Win7 first, before to install the SusE, i think there was auto installation or something like this. About the link you provided me -http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Sear...ntel%c2%ae+RST
It says to open xxxx.exe for 32bit (my system) or xxxx.exe for 64bit system, but there is no exe when i extracted the files.
Should i open it from My Computer > Downloads > zzzz (the folder where i exctacted the files), because i still don't have the files.
F6flp32.exe , can't see this file.

If you have a 64-bit system, use F6flp64.exe.
If you have a 32-bit system, use F6flp32.exe.
From readme
Sorry if the questions are too dumb, but i'am following everything step by step.
Copy files to floppy disk.
SATA Drivers - Load in Windows XP Setup on Dual Boot
OR
slipsteam in to the Win XP disk.
SATA Drivers - Slipstream into Windows XP CD
I don't get this error when i tried to install Windows XP, should i do this? Just asking for confirmation, thanks for your time!
The OS you install, is your choose.
If it was me, I would install Win 7.
theog, I don't have original Windows7 CD and made update incidently. + I can't run some programs that i rarely use. I prefer WindowsXP, because i have long expirience with it.
