    Explorer Rooted not refreshing

I have a shortcut that opens explorer "rooted" to a particular folder:

    Code:
    %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e, /root, c:\users
It works fine and launches explorer rooted to the folder.

The problem is that any changes that are made within this folder require a "refresh" (F5) to get them to show up.

I have tested the same shortcut on several other Windows 7 machines with quite different set ups.

Can anybody verify that the "Explore Rooted" feature that I used to use all the time in Windows XP does not work in Windows 7? Alternatively, is there a better way to get the shortcut to work correctly

    Thanks

I have something similar (called 'my desk'), but it's in my Library. See if moving that folder to the Libraries will make it work like you want it to.

    Thanks Jacee,

Unfortunately, that did not work. I also have too many items in the Libraries list at the moment and would like to be reduce the number there.
