    Dialog Boxes Focusing Behind All

Since Win7, I've noticed that all of my timed system events configured to pop up reminders or Microsoft Office Calendar events always pop up in the background.

Usually, I have sound on, so I can here the Windows notice, but not always.

Also, I have dual screens that I keep pretty busy!

Is there a way I can tell Win7 that I want these dialog boxes to pop up in the front like they did way back in the WinXP day?

This is annoying me as well. It appears to be an issue with Windows 7 (Win7),
not Outlook. By default, Win7 combines the taskbar buttons. By doing so the
Reminder gets embedded into the "grouping" behind the Outlook icon. This
makes the reminder difficult to notice.

If you change the "Taskbar buttons" setting under the "Taskbar and Start
Menu Properties" to "Never combine," then the grouping separates and the
reminder pops-up in front of whatever else you have open.

However, one of the great new features of Win7 is this nice, clean taskbar
grouping. So it becomes a matter of sacrifice in order to get this to work
    correctly.
    Pop up reminders?

    Thanks Jaycee.

Looks like others have had the same problem.

My apologies for "double posting" - I just did not know what to call the topic when I searched.

    Dialog Boxes hiding after opened

While I have read several posts regarding this subject and have tried the solutions I came across, I am still having the same issue. It is especially a problem when working within our SAGE MAS 200 ERP software. I was hoping that someone would have a different fix that might work.

I have tried unlocking the task bar, changed my Foreground flash count and foreground lock timeout, have tried uninstalling other programs such as Google Chrome, Cisco Web programs etc. Also tried the clean boot and still find my open dialog boxes disappear to the background of any open programs.

I am hoping someone has the answer. Thank you!
