One place where you can get some infor mation is to type dxdiax in the search bar. For more information you should download an application like everest.

For the most part, you should know the basics already, either from building or buying the computer. However, you can also run some software, such as Speccy to give you this info, or go through Device Manager to find out most of it.

Download Speccy for a quick and easy look, or SIW for a more detailed one.

I would second what Jonathan suggests. The easiest for a basic user, would be speccy as it's very simple. SIW is a bit more advanced, but does also provide a bit more info than speccy, and is normally used by more advanced users

    Welcome to Seven Forums Mafhh.

One thing to check out is the tutorials section. there are so many it is almost scary. If you have any questions about anything, use the search tool at the top and if you cant find what you are looking for post a new thread. We are all happy to help.

If you don't want to download anything and install, while I too recommend Speccy, you can goto System Information on your computer.

    Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Information.

Everything broken down by category. Just another alternative.

Click Start, type msinfo32 and press Enter.
Expand Components and just about everything you need is in there.

Urk! Sorry, did not realize msinfo32 == System Information.
