    Loading Next Page Message

    Hello,
As I scroll to the bottom of a web page after a search, I get these popups saying loading next page. Can I turn this off? Also, If I set windows update to automatic, do I still have any say in what downloads? For instance, I don't want windows live updates and I don't need any language packs except English. Thanks,
    John

I suspect you have a program installed that caches the next page for speedy viewing. Could you please post a screenshot of your Programs and Features window?

Can't post a screen shot because my pointer has to be at the bottom of the page for this to show up. While I was trying to do the screenshot, I scrolled to the bottom of the search results page and it said loading next page and then I didn't have to hit the next page button. The pages just kept coming, one right under the other. No switching to the next page. I like this. Is this a feature I just didn't know about? Cool if it is. Still wondering about the auto updates thing, though. Any Ideas on this one? Sorry if I'm not posting this correctly. Thanks,
    John

I mean post a screenshot of your installed programs. Go to Control Panel>Programs and Features.

If you choose automatic updates, only important updates are downloaded and installed automatically. You still have to install optional updates manually. Language packs are optional updates thus always requiring a manual install, so you don't have to worry.

Let me guess, you either use Firefox or Google Chrome, and installed "Fasterfox" plugin... Did I hit the bull's eye?

Let me address these in order. Haven't learned the snipping tool thing yet, but I will.
Thanks for the heads up on auto update.
Yes, Google Chrome with the plug-in
Question answered about updates... So I'm guessing it's the plug-in allowing the loading next page feature. So we don't need the screenshot. If I'm right, Thank you all so much for the help. If not, Let me know. Thanks again,
    John

    You're welcome, John.
Yes it's Fasterfox that's doing that for you, I personally like that plugin, it saves a lot of time browsing google and several other sites, browsing just got a bit faster :)
