    Bootmgr toast on dual-boot system

So, I used to have Windows 7 running off a secondary drive as part of a dual-boot system (with Vista on the main drive). The drive holding Vista (and my bootmgr) has died, but my Windows 7 installation on the secondary drive is intact. Is there are way to get it working (copy over a bootmgr maybe, and add system boot files?), or do I need to wait until I have a new primary hard drive?

Nope, just do a system repair with your Windows 7 disk.

Hello Yogsodoth, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Running a Startup Repair may be able to fix your Windows 7 boot file and allow you to boot into Windows 7 afterwards.

    Hope this helps,

I don't think he can get to "startup repair", sine probably his BIOS is saying

He needs to run startup repair on a bootable install medium.
