    Search by Audio or Video

We could search in WinXP by Audio. There was a radiobox and you click it then the system brings the results(audio or video). How could I do it in Win7?

Simply open the location (E.g. the drive) in Windows Explorer and use the ”Search bar” on the top right of the window. The location you search in doesn’t have to be absolutely precise. The aim is just to avoid searching in places that you know for sure that the file can’t be in, since win7 searches contextually. Then type:

    Kind:music

    or you can type

    Kind:song

There are a large no. of such search syntax. Go through these 2 articles, most informative.
