How to check if windows 7 rc1 is legit with proper hash

Hi, I have downloaded the 7100.0.090421-1700_x64fre_client_en-us_Retail_Ultimate-GRC1CULXFRER_EN_DVD iso and am wandering how I check if its a legit iso as in not modified or infected with any viruses. I intend to use this as my main os and install it tonight but want to make sure it is the proper iso.

    Thanks for any help

The best bet is wait for another 24 hrs from now & MS will launch the public RC1 on 5th May. 2nd best you can do is check the MD5 hash of the file with the known legal source if it matches then yes your file is original but why not wait for 5th may ?

should be the hash code for the x64 3.05gb ISO file, if its zipped then the hash would be different.

HashTab is a Windows shell extension which adds a tab called "File Hashes" to the Windows Explorer file properties. The tab contains the MD5, SHA1 and CRC-32 file hashes.

in Windows explorer> right click the file> properties> File hash tab
this will show you the file hash.
    Hope this helps.

If the hash matches then no need to worry about.
is this the same as the official release tomorrow?
only time will tell, some say it would be the same but you never know if any internal development too place further based on 1 week feedback from beta testers.
