    Same problem here

    Hello Sevenforum users ,

Same problem here , it started with clean x64 7100 build and now with x64 7264, tried to find an answer to this problem for a few weeks, but now I have enough of this. All not needed HDDs disconnected, but I found out that every time this lag occour there is some service logging to the system. I will not copy & paste more info cause I have customized build with Polish language pack.

But all you have this problem will find out some info in EventViewer / Security section.

If you have all files and folders visible its probably on C:\,. If not its in cpanel>system>advanced>perforance>settings>advanced.

I think it is primarily a AHCI issue. Installing Intel Matrix Storage Manager fixed it for me.
Choose a similar driver depending on your motherboard chipsets and try again.
    Hope this helps.
