Windows 7: sfc /scanonce

sfc /scanonce

I cannot run this.It says administrator must do it.I am the only Admin on my computer.Can you help/

sfc /scannow

When you get to the cmd prompt right click and run as administrator.
Once you type cmd in search, you will see the cmd prompt

First its syntax isnt correct. I believe what you want is sfc /scannow , not scan once.

In terms of admin

To run scannow type cmd in search>right click and run it as admin>sfc /scannow
