    Is it worth my while, upgrading from W7 Prenium to W7 Ultimate, if so, what are the real advantages?

    Depends on your requirements.

    If you want it for browsing/movies/music/gaming/office then home premium is more than enough. If however you run an enterprise(business) as well then ultimate is to be considered.
