We could do that? I have an old device, can I use VPC's integration to detect my device and install drivers in that VM even if W7 does not recognize this dinosaur device at all?

Hello arkhi.

One way to find out, as you have "Pro" give XP mode go to see if it'll detect the device.

Breaking up is hard to do........

I've learned much in this thread and it is all very much appreciated.

Most importantly you have taught me that my Palm Desktop is old technology that no one is going to support anymore not even Palm.

I need to move to Outlook, like it or not! Outlook is what smartphones commonly want to sync with.

I was surprised to find that my current machine running office 2003 does not have outlook! I thought it did.

No matter, when I move to Windows 7, I'll make sure I have Outlook. I believe all my Palm data will transfer easily to Outlook and then I will be set to move away from a Palm device and switch to a smartphone. Maybe a Nokia such as Kari suggested.

Saying good by to an old friend sure is hard though!

That Palm Tungsten e and I sure had a good run!

@cdsailor

You should not wait until you make the final move to win7 in order to try to somewhat convert your palm data to the outlook format.

Just spend your time trying to do that and then, when you are finally done and it works, you will know that going to win7 and outlook will be a breeze.

After a short research, I managed to find that it is possible thanks to your advice. Quite easy too. Thank you!

Changing the "minimize" "maximize" and "close" buttons of a theme
Ok so I'm using a custom visual style made by another user however I don't really like the buttons used that I mentioned above. The creator states it is acceptable to change the theme to however you like as long as you don't redistribute it anywhere. Ok so I opened up the .msstyles file (using...
