cd drive questions

Is wondering how to get manual control over the cd drive door.
Whenever I burn files to a cd, in windows 7, after they are burned, the cd drive
door opens, like it is telling me to eject the cd, but I've got more files to burn.
So, then I have turn around and push the cd button on computer and start
the search and file burning all over again.
Isn't there some way to be able to control the cd door manually?
TIA

Oh, thank you, thank you for asking your question, Oregonport! This has been annoying the heck out of me, too, as my pc sits in a computer desk with a door that covers it up. When the tray auto ejects, it sometimes bangs into the desk door if I accidentally bump the door closed with my knee. I'm soooooo glad I saw this thread! I now know how to turn this auto-eject feature on/off in WMP.

Shopping for a hard drive, have a few questions
So i finally took off the thin cover on my laptop to completely clean out the main fan (and took out a pair of dust bunnies in the process), and decided to take a peek at the HDD0 and HDD1, but noticed all there was in the HDD1 case was a cushion, so I went to Newegg to start shopping for something...
