    PC havoc prevention :P

My nephews stay over for the weekend about once a month. Probably more often now that they are out of school. They get on my computer, and hell usually breaks loose if I don't watch them like a hawk. I don't mind them getting on to play games, I have an account on my computer just for them to play video games. However, they usually end up screwing something up. Even with parental controls on.

So for the sake of my poor computer, is there a way of setting up something like libraries/coffee shops have? IE You can do whatever the heck you want, and then when you log off, its like nothing happened? I just want it for their game account.

I've heard of Guest Mode (not the account). It sounds like that would have worked beautifully. I guess they took that out while 7 was in beta. Then Steadystate isn't supported in 7... is there something similar to those for 7, but with a different name? Or is there software that can do what I'm looking for? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums 275i7. You could install Sandboxie on that user, and have everything run in the sandbox. After they leave, just flush everything.

@A Guy, Thanks for the welcome. Looks like SandBoxie will work well.

@pcs3657, it would have worked great, too bad it didn't make it to the released version of 7. =( Not too happy about that.
