12 svchost.exe ?

    12 svchost.exe ?


    I know that it is common to have multiple amounts of these processes running.
    But I have 12 !
    12, really ?
    Is this common with windows 7 ? Because I have never seen that on XP.
    Btw I am running the RC (Build 7100)

    Yeah, it's normal. This will show you that they are connected to different processes.

I am curious concerning what this is. When viewing task manager for "All Users", I see this process using almost 50% of physical memory. It appears twice....one using over 200,000K and a second time at 16,000K. Thanks in advance for the help.

I have noticed recently that in my Task Manager I have 10 svchost.exe running!! This is using my CPU up and therefore making my computer slow. I have included a screenshot, can anybody please help me to solve this problem.
