    Startup programs for different users

Hello. I was asking if there is a way to make some programs to appear only to some users, and others to other users (i mean user accounts on windows 7), because I have an antivirus that slows down my computer, so I would like to manually run it as administrator of system, but for other users to run automatically at startup. Hope you understand what I'm saying. Thank you for future replies.

I meant to startup different programs for different users in Windows 7. For example, if in my startup are included yahoo messenger, daemon tools, in other user account startup to be the antivirus, winamp agent...like that

I would think that most programs could be run at startup, for all. Then do not give permissions for the others to do it manually.

Here is a tutorial on giving permissions. You have to modify it for your own users, of course. Good luck

Try navigating to each user's Startup folder and adding or removing shortcuts from there as per choice. Here is a tutorial.

Do let us know how it works.

I have done as it is written in this tutorial, and my problem was solved(I mean I have copied the files I needed to run at startup for a different user, and that program runs only at that user startup). Thank you :)
