    run an application in 16bit colors


    Does any one know how to run an application in 16bit colors without changing the system colors display???

    I suppose you've already tried the compatibility mode for 256 colors and it did not work?

    there is not an easy way unless you are a programmer or have intricate knowledge of windows 7 api's (of course you have to be a programmer too...lol)
    the lowest you run in compat. mode is 256 colours..

    unfortunately i cant help you there...
    as i neither know the api's or am a programmer
    and why would would you be running a 16 bit colour program???

    It's an old game on XP, and when you run it on Win7, it have some problem with the color style so you need to run it on 16bit colors mode...Anyway, thank for your enthusiasm
