New Technet standard half the price of pro

    As far as catch goes is legally its for testing only by IT professionals, and of course has no resell value. Most people can live with that so is not a 'real' catch.
    I just renewed with my renewal discount code from pro , I downgraded to standard which gave me an end cost of £99 gbp plus the vat

    process was simple enough , I logged in to my technet subscription then clicked the renew link where I entered the code then picked downgrade to standard and went through a couple of confirm pages and entered card details et voila :)

    thanks, I never went by the discount code page so explains why I didnt see it.
