Is My Expiry 1 July or 7 January?
Maybe I should clarify, I didn't mean my personal expiry (that's all too imminent I fear) but my Windows 7....LOL !!
My dates are "Canadian" style - set to DD/MM/YYYY

July, but it is a moot point as the public beta will be around long before that.
Thanks. Hope to get my hands on a legit beta copy but unless it really goes to public beta I doubt I will. The last time MSFT picked me for a beta was XP SP2...LOL. I guess I didn't provide enough feedback as they never offered me anything after that, that wasn't free anyway. I can't afford to join MSDN or whatever it is that guarantees it.
yes you are both right
the timebomb is different from this version compared to the 6801 since it will timebomb 180 days after the installation has finished
there is no fixed date timebomb on this because this an test build to be shown to the public...
the betas that ms show off usually have this kind of timebomb compared to the 6801 which has a fixed date...
Actually, your computer are using the Canada style and it is July 1st
In my computer (US style M/D/year) I got this one
You can check your style in the Regional and Language options
About the difference, I think it just because of the time zone
I just wanted assurance that the dates were the same format there as in Clock/Language/Region settings and you guys have affirmed that, thanks.
Hello all.
I think it's all a moot point; have a look at this! Written right after 6801 was released (leaked).
Pre-Beta M3 bits Time-bombed
But we will find out; won't we!

so then would this still be a Milestone???
or an alpha...
or a beta candidate
(well then again all of these mean the same thing but im wondering what MS is calling 6956 and 6936???....)
Hello DA.
You can bet your last dollar; if they time bombed one they did it to all....
