    Windows 7 Due = Windows 7 RC = 2010?

There is something I just don't get. If Win 7 RC expires August 1 2010 will it be wise to assume that Win 7 final will be released after? Do they want to make people to have the incentive to buy the finished thing buy leaking these *pre-releases*? I don't get it. I don't think Win 7 final is coming this year with the constant pre-7 leaks. So many things going on at once, weird! What's the sense of it all?

The expiration date of RC version is often later (largely) than the Release of the final and commercial version.

So, it means that Seven will be on the market BEFORE the end of the RC expiration, info 100% secure

You can be sure that Seven will be on the market before the end of this year, there's nothing that says the opposite @ this time.

    agreed with LePoilu.
the pre-releases are obviously for testing purposes for the general public (7000 and 7100)
the interum leaks (7048, 7068, etc.) are for testing for a private group and then a member of the private group will leak to everyone else.
just because there was a leak like every 2 weeks doesn't mean that there is a lot going on and thus they wont release the final for a long time, it's actually quite the opposite.
they are making great progress and a solid rumor is that the RTM will be finalized sometime between october of this year and december

Usually the leaks always are good until after the RTM release. This is not uncommon. Reason, the longer you get to use a BETA version the more you want it...remember also that for the average JOE, the final RTM will only work - install over - upgrade from a Previous/older LEGIT Version like Vista SP1 or SP2.
Pirates on the other hand, often have work arounds for that. Also it seems that MS is getting more tolerant to Pirates than before... reason Pirates most often use the very latest version of their software. It took me 4 yrs to got some folks to upgrade to Vista ... now they say WOW, really is better than I expected... they enjoy listening to me chat about Win7, and often I get to show them, but I'm also sure I'll be on Win 8 or Win9 before they move to Win7. Some will be stuck with XP & still others have not moved form Windows ME or Windows 2000 yet, due to the local computer shop can not get Vista to work... he only offers XP even to day for the new computer systems he sells. He has mastered the Pirates version of XP Pro and XP Home.
