    Permission Problems (adobe)

Hello everyone, I'll get straight to the point. I'm the administrator of my PC and on an occasion I would encounter a permissions error.

Errors usually state that I require administrator privileges to modify/access/delete certain files. My account is an admin, and others are disable. (default admin/guest etc.)

This is a windows 7 Ultimate, now the file I'm attemting to modify is an adobe NPSWF32.dll located in system32. My theory is that adobe doesn't like people modifying their stuff, is that correct? If so, then their installation procedure is very flawed, it encounters a privilege error by its own file.

I'm attempting to install adobe Flash Player 10.1.

I'm attempting to install adobe 10.1, although it encounters a permission error. Stating that it doesn't have sufficient privileges to modify that file.

Also, by modifying that file, I mean that I'm attempting to either move or delete that file because it's interfering with the setup.

    - Also, thank you for your quick response.

What a coincidence, I have a .reg file which allows me to take ownership, although it doesn't work on this file.

Anyway, I tried what you have shown, but it shows that I don't have permission to view or edit permission settings. Tells me "Access Denied".

Do not take ownership! It is not a bloody cure all and should not be used until the last possible moment!
    Especially, in vulnerable system areas!

Instead run the installer as Admin. Right-click > run as administrator

Unfortunately, the file is a .dll, I cannot fun it nor do I wish to. All I need to do is remove it so that it doesn't interfere with the installation procedure.

I'm not very familiar with commands, I can run it as admin, but what do I type in to command it to remove such file?
