    Beta Expiration?

Will our Beta versions of Se7en expire? I've activated mine with the Product Key, so it doesn't say anything about a trial. My friend seems to think that after a year, I'll have to re-install Vista Ultimate.

Yes, even though you have activated the BETA, it will eventualy expire. If memory serves, the official beta released by Microsoft in January (Build 7000) will expire on 1 August 2009, while the new Release Candidate (Build 7100) will expire on 1 March 2010.

You'll have 2 choices: Either go back to Windows Vista, or by the release version of Windows 7 when it is available (hopefully in September or October this year)

Ahh, I see. Well, I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. I love Windows 7 to death, and I have no intentions of giving it up in the near future :)

Where have you been, RC was released 4 days ago and you can get it on the Connect, TechNet and other places, not to mention that most of us had well before then when it leaked onto torrent sites.
