Looking for default settings as they were during installation. Whether there may be somewhere on my drive or can de downloaded from the web in the part that is independent of hardware?

Hello R063rt, and welcome to Seven Forums.
Anything particular that you were wanting the default registry settings on. If not, then the only way is to do a clean install, or possibly a repair install, to have everything default. ![]() |

Tnx, Brink.
Accessories such as TweakNow have made some changes at log on and I can not restore them with the same procedure, and comparing the default values would know what to do. |

R063rt,
You might see if you may be able to do a system restore at boot using a restore point dated before you made the changes using TweakNow or accessories to undo them. If not, then what specific changes at log on did it make? I may recognize it and know a way to restore it to default. |

Does the TweakNow programme have it within its own settings?? Maybe open in and see if Restore Defualt/Orignal setting is in there,or undo tweaks maybe??, just a thought

Unfortunately I do not have a system restore point, and I've changed a lot through a period of time so I'm not sure when the part changed in the registry. Appearance is not so problematic and concerns the log on procedure. So I'm looking for default registry values that are related to the log on procedure.

The program itself does have a "restore" feature which you should use, if you didint make backups before applying the registry clean then you should consider that for next time.
I think most people would agree here that you have to figure out what it is you want back that you lost and google it. If apps arent working properly now then you'll have to reinstall them. f you can be more concise we might be able to help you but you might want to try TweakNow's forums first... |

R063rt,
I would agree with the other to try the undo feature in TweakNow to see if you may be able to undo the changes. If not, then you will need to give a specific item that was changed that you want restored for us to possibly be able to help. |
