    aero peek option got grey

At attached picture, the aero peek option got grey.

I tried to fix this with "Desktop peek tweak" - Desktop Peek Tweak -.
    But it didn't work.

    How to solve this problem?

Set up an Aero theme then try again. I would guess that you haven't got the Aero theme active!
Right click on your desktop and choose "Personalize" and then choose an Aero theme.

You can try the Aero troubleshooter.

Open Control Panel/Troubleshooting. Under Appearance and Personalization, select the Display Aero desktop effects.

In the Troubleshooter dialog, click the Advanced link and place a check mark in the Apply Repairs Automatically option.

Click Next to run the troubleshooter.

I tried "the Aero troubleshooter", and found wddm driver, so I changed driver.
After checking "the Aero troubleshooter", I open Aero peek option box, then same result.

Mitchell you are my hero. I have been reading forums for about two hours and almost shat myself when I read this post. Such and easy fix. I have been checking/adding registry, service and visual settings to no avail. Thanks for the advice.
