    Seven+SATA+IDE

    Hi

I installed the 7100 on my parents pc.One SATA drive and one IDE.
Just found out that it wont boot with the IDE connected(hangs on boot logo),when disconnected it boots perfectly fine.
I already had to disconnect the IDE when i wanted to install 7 (something about partitions)
    Rest of system
    AMD X2 3800+
    2GB DDR2 RAM
    MSI K9N NEO-F
    SATA II Samsung main
    IDE Seagate backup

    Anyone who has encountered this?

When you have IDE drive connected, bios is probably trying to boot from that as it probably "sees" this one first.

So, connect the IDE drive, then go into bios and set it to boot from the SATA one.

I had same issue, use boot priority in BIOS and switch to SATA.
