Went through the same problem with another program and going from 125% to a lower solved my problem. You can always put it back where you want it to be. If I understand you correctly you would like to make your desktop Icons bigger. Hold down the shift key and roll your mouse wheel back and forth.

If it is only 2 days old, you should get one that works or have them explain how to use it. A more expensive one is not the answer.

I will help as much as I can.

There seems to be much that you do not understand on the computer.

This is what you do. Everything that you do not understand write it down. Go to the store and have them explain it to you. You may not understand everything, but write it down. Then we will work on it together. Please, do not get upset, we will work on this together as friends. OK?.

To be honest, I do not know enough about the computer to know if it is good or not.
Download this and tell me what is says.

Speccy - System Information - Free Download

Then we will know if it is a good computer.

Just post anything you find out at Staples and I will answer as soon as I can.

You have a very nice computer for your purposes. Any problems that you are having is because you do not understand how to use it correctly, we will take care of that.

For your purposes the cheaper one is fine.
