    remove desktop from alt+tab ?

    Hi,

this is something that really annoys me.

Whenever i have 2 fullscreen apps running and i want to switch back and forth between them, i like to use alt+tab (works good on windows xp)

But when doing this on my new windows 7 machine, every second or third time i end up on the desktop, since - for some to me unknown reason - the desktop itself is placed in the list of active programms.

I was wondering whether the is a way to remove the desktop from this list, or any other means to prevent this "problem"

I hope someone can help me with that :)

    Welcome to the forum,

I'm not sure if it can be removed, how about if you alt+tab then release tab and use

the arrow key to select your window.

Wrong. Just google for the registry edit, will revert to old XP style though so no preview images. I'm not even going to be doing it myself, because I'd rather have previews and deal with the superfluous presence of the desktop in alt+tab.
