    HELP? I get strange error that I am missing credit card information.


    When i start up the computer and run the internet explorer, a strange message popup box tells me that I inserted an invalid credit card number for my bank and I need to re enter my credit card number and pin number? Is this real?? It show my bank logo and it display my name and address too!

    This is a spam!!!!
    Do not enter anything.
    Print what you can and contact your bank.

    NO NO NO. Its a fake. No bank will ever ask for that type of information online or over the phone. Contact your bank by phone and ask them about it.

    Seriously. Once they have your credit card number and PIN they will clean you out. Listen to The Howling Wolves.

    Ok thank you all for help!! :) I will contact my bank tomorrow because they are closed right now. But there is another problem because another popup box is telling me that this site is a virus! I know this site is safe but the message says it is from windows firewall. Pls help!

    Where can i get a antivirus for free that is safe? I only have windows firewall and I cannot find a scan button. Thank you for help again.

    Download Microsoft Security Essentials

    MSE

    Download MalwareBytes free version

    MalwareBytes

    After both are installed, go offline and run scans. I'd run MalwareBytes 1st, then MSE. I'm recommending MSE because it's the easiest for windows users to use.
