Is my computer infected with Malware? Or is this just an error?

I joined this forum a couple minutes ago because I have a serious problem with my computer. And please, if you want to explain how to fix this problem do it so that I can understand :). I am not very experienced with computers. All I know is some basic stuff like how to run games, installing stuff, uninstalling stuff, and stuff like that.

Anyway, I have been getting this error for a couple days now. Here is what the error looks like: http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/8035/46618280.png

Sorry about how the image looks, my image taking device is pretty bad. Anyway, in the top corner, it says something about Maplestory.exe, but the error just comes up whenever I open or close ANY program.

I tried system restoring my computer to a day before, but that didn't do anything either. All I remember about how I got the virus is that I was on google images looking for pictures of Puyol (the Spanish football player) then suddenly a Java screen opens up and Avira detects a virus called JAVA/Clagent.H

The file was located in C:\Users\Navid Farhadi\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\6.0\23\776587d7-4267876b

I also scanned my computer with Malwarebytes, Registry Booster, Security 360, and Systemcare Free so that didn't do anything either. Also, the system restore didn't change anything.

Could anyone walk me through how I can fix the problem in a nice and easy way? Thank you guys very much for your time :)

    /Navid

That's an application error, not a virus notification.

For issues running that executable, try the support website for it: MapleStory - A Free Massively Multiplayer Online Role-playing Game

Well, its not ONLY for MapleStory. No matter what application I open or close I get that same error. For instance, closing and opening Skype also gets me this error. The error is for EVERYTHING. And the reason I thought it has something to do with malware is because the problem occured the same time as Avira detected that virus.

Uninstall Maplestory and see if the problem goes away, if it does do a new install and see if it works correctly

I've already tried this. I can confirm that the problem is NOT from maplestory. As I said before, the problem occurs no matter what application I open or close.

Well since Avira flagged an internet site which triggered the blanket error, infection needs to be exhausted as a possibility.

To eliminate any running programs where viruses can hide, run one or more of the AV solutions from bootable CD: FREE Bootable AntiVirus Rescue CDs Download List

Or install Avast 5, update, select Boot TIme Scan on Tools tab and restart your computer.

The .dll error is normally solved by installing the file or uninstalling the program, but isn't that game online? If not, uninstall it and all components using Revo Uninstaller in Advanced mode.

Failing to find a virus, I would run a Repair Install as a last resort before clean reinstall.

Be sure to use deepest "Clean All" to wipe the HD before clean reinstall: SSD / HDD : Optimize for Windows Reinstallation

Ugh, I was really hoping I didn't need to do a re-install. I will try Avast 5 and see how that works.

A Repair Install after uninstalling with Revo all components of Maplestory might do it, if no infection is found.
