    Download Software Info for Windows

SIW | System Information for Windows by Gabriel Topala

See what audio device your XP has installed. Find the Manufacturer. Go to their site & see if there is an XP audio driver for XP

Most Windows users are biased but they are always helpful. You won't run into jerks until you hit up Linux support forums.

You'll get the top viewed one, which in most cases is the largest. And large is almost always better. Faster answered question, as well as more answers.

Actually, there is a nice group of people who provide Linux help in Bruno's All Things Linux at Scots Newsletter Forum (as in Scot Finnie, Editor-in-Chief of Computerworld).
