    Hi,

On my search to a free(ware) screen capture program I found the message that in some Vista + Windows 7 version, I have the pro, you can find the Snipping Tool

Most Windows-program which come together with the new OS-disc are crappy stuf, but I must try it before I have to say it's even rubbishy ...!
I read the discription (see the above link) and have searched my Original Windows 7 disc and searched all the files/maps by hand and with the Win search but couldn't find anything.
It's strange that Microsoft write so and it isn't to find on my computersystem included my Windows 7/64 version, maybe it's not to find because I live in Europe (that are other versions)?

The snipping tool is in Accessories. If you have Vista, you have to enable the Tablet PC option - else it is not there. Go figure.

Go to Start (orb) copy/paste this into the Search Box.
       Information
    %windir%\system32\SnippingTool.exe

In the results you should see SnippingTool.exe. Right click it and choose Pin to Start Menu, then you can find it easily.
