msconfig..system configuration

    msconfig..system configuration


    i was trying to do the tweak, where u can choose that both cores are running at bootup. but for some reason it doesnt let me click advance options.

    Hello Eldinv,

    By default, Windows 7 will use all processors. Unless you are having an issue with your processor, the box should remain at it's default setting of unchecked.

    What does it do when you click on the Advanced button?

    You might restart the computer to see if it just may be some glitch and hopefully work afterwards.

    Blessing in a disguise I say. You should leave advance options well enough alone.
    This "tweak" never did anything in any version of Windows. It is nothing but a myth.
