How to make my screen zoom like this?!

I was watching this video and noticed he could make a section of his screen zoom in or out at will. I'm using a 55" LED tv for my monitor and with the suggested resolution the text and what not is awfully small so this would be a great feature for me, anybody know what it's called and how I can get or activate it on my comp?

    Hey rkf,
He was making his computer zoom in and out with the program he was recording his screen with. Its a special program so he can make movies just like that. Its not a random feature. If you want to make your text different, try raising and lowering the resolution at will, and also check the dpi level (its all located in the personilization menu when you right click on the desktop.

    Hope this helps bud,
    Ben

I'm not 100% sure but I think Ctrl+Scroll wheel works (this may be Mac Specific)

The control + scroll wheel is only in the web browser.

You could also do a google search to see if anyone has any specific programs to do this.

The scroll wheel is only for the browser and maybe specific program.
Check on google to see if there are any programs that could do this. You'll be very surprised with what you might find.

    Let us know,

Nah, that wasn't the video editing program. I've been searching for the past 2 days and cant find my answer, that's why I figured I'd post here. Windows 7 on a Mac? Anybody have any idea what feature/program that is?

Alternatively you could use Windows Magnifying Glass which is part of Windows 7.

It accomplishes what you want to do but I don't know whether it's in a format you'll like.

Make items on the screen appear bigger (Magnifier)

I played around with the resolution a lot last night to no avail. Didn't play with the dpi though, and with my tv being 1080p I'm not sure I want to. If I could just get my screen to zoom in like that I'd be golden!

Many screen capture programs do use this feature. It is most likely part of that.

You could always ask the guy on youTube.
