    shortcut arrows

Is there a way to make the arrows on desktop shortcuts smaller as you could do in previous versions?

    Hi DWFII,

If you want to remove the Shortcut arrows -

Shortcut Arrow - Change, Remove, or Restore

There is a tweak in there that removes them.

Thanks, but I don't want to get rid of them, just make them smaller.

Or is this another of those instances where microsoft has decided they need to be the ultimate arbiters of what our desktops should look like.

I thought everything was going to be an object in Win7 (XP too) and thus customizable.

    Hello DWFII,

You can change the shortcut arrow at that link above as well. :)
