    I have 2 Win7 setups, but I'm too chicken to try the SP1 beta on either of them.

    I'm too reliant on these things to risk botching them and having to do a restore/format.

    assume that SP1 is just a collection of previous updates..

    is there a link to the SP1 BETA download..??

    MS has kept me updated all along, as I bought W7 on release I assume that it has been maintained properly

    - unless I hear reports of dramatic improvements, I shall wait and let them decide whether or not it's essential, via the usual updating process..

    I suspect that this applies to a lot of us - I have tested so many of their products, I'm gonna give it a rest for a while....
