Other format problems

I have a new laptop with windows 7 on it, and i forgot my user password and dont know how to change it or go around it, so i was wondering how i reformat my computer so i can use it, an i have no way of getting into the desktop, so i cant reset factory settings. So if anyone knows any downloadable programes to reset it, i would greatly appreciate it...................................

If you have a pre-built computer, then check you documentation on how to access the recovery partition which will basically reset the computer back to it's factory state.

You might also want to give this tutorial a go: Password Reset Options.
