You have Windows 7 Home Premium, so you will not be able to do this through Local Users and Groups like in OPTION THREE of the tutorial below, except for Guest instead.

Built-in Administrator Account - Enable or Disable
Yeah. It's funny why this happened to me and not my friends though. I've never even activate/turned on/logged on the guest account before.

Did you right click on the command shortcut and click on "Run as administrator" first?

Yes I did (edited my previous post)

I restarted. It did remove the "guest" from that "control userpasswords2" window.

The problem isn't solved though. I still have to click on the only user account I have before being able to type my password in

This thing has been driving me crazy for the past month

Lock your computer, try to log in, do you have to click it then too?

    Yeah.
Locked. Logged off. Restarted. Shut down -> Boot. Switched user. Tried pretty much everything

All the same damn thing. Annoying as ever

Double check to make sure that you still have your user account set to log on automatically at startup. If you do, then turn it off, apply, then turn it back on to see if that may help.

And I would rather NOT use the auto login feature

I think you are going to HAVE to click your username, are you sure your friends are using Windows 7?

I didn't set my user account to automatically log on because.. Well, it says that I have to uncheck the "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" box, and I assumed that if that box is unchecked, my computer will no longer be password protected.

But I'll try that anyway. I'll post the results then.
