You can technically find the option through msconfig, but it is somewhat hidden and takes quite a few mouse clicks to end up in the System Properties. Just go to the System properties normally (right-click Computer), choose Properties > Advanced System Settings > Advanced > Settings.
true that would be the same thing but i like doing work through msconfig seems like there are more option on that lil proggy there
If you are trying to shut down programs from running at boot, yes, there are more options. But you really don't want to get into the habit of messing with the boot options in msconfig, as you could easily render the system as unbootable, or only using some of your memory or cores. There are options 99% of the people configure in System Properties anyway one a clean install, and this is one that should be done right away on a non-server.
The only way to change automatic reboots in msconfig is to dig your way into the System Properties anyway. If you are changing it somewhere else, or through another option...be very very careful.

Just to expand on that, the usual motherboard bottleneck is the Northbridge and HTT speed on an AM2/AM2+ system, since the bulk of the graphics information passes to and from the CPU through the NB. In an AM2 chip like the 6000+ the HTT link speed is only 1000 MHz, and it limits the effective amount of information passing through the NB.
With a chip that tends to run quite warm like the 6000+, overclocking the FSB and HTT link to get better performance isn't the greatest idea, due to the heat problems if it is a Windsor core. OCing an 89 Watt 6000+ Brisbane core is tricky, as well, because of the notorious core temp diode problem, giving false core temps. It probably isn't worth the effort for someone without a bit of overclocking experience.
A newer video card with a better GPU is probably the best low cost solution, IMHO, though I would get too extravagant in terms of $$$ with that either, since the CPU to NB transfer speed will still limit the overall bandwidth.
