    Hi, mohammed yasser.

Well, considering you've only got 2 gigabytes of RAM, I'd recommend going for Windows 7 32-bit. Of course, I'd recommend 64-bit, but there's no point unless you decide to upgrade your RAM in the near future.

I'd stay away from Vista with 2 gigabytes of RAM as well. Some say you need a minimum of 2 gigabytes of RAM just to run Vista without complications - but that's just nonsense. Vista will be fine, but my recommendation is Windows 7. Have fun!

    Thanks,
    Harvey Meale

I run Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Bit with a Pentium 2200 2.2Ghz dual core and it does the job, can be a bit laggy so will be buying new MOBO and CPU in the near future to resolve the issues.

Windows 7 will be my first choice. Preferably x64. That way, when you are ready to go to 4GB of memory (or more), you won't have to change your OS also.

Windows 7 would be much more responsive with the spec's you listed.

Unless you have a hardware or software issue that requires X86 I would tend to agree that you could/should run X64 and then you would be pre-positioned to add more than 4GB of ram which, based on your spec's, your motherboard will support. Currently there aren't too many advantages to X64...but.....Going forward there WILL be more and more and there aren't any real disadvantages unless there is a software/hardware incompatibility.

Furthermore you would then be ahead of the pack in future upgrades. OS's will continue to go X64 and more companies are supporting X64 for their hardware/software. If you already run X64 you will by default be positioned for all new compatible hardware/software for the foreseeable future and will not be trapped by a need to upgrade something to run Win8 or Win9 when/if they go X64 only.

Hi, if you want free antivirus program I would recommend Microsoft Security Essentials or Avast.
