How to get the shell extension icon

    Hello,
I used ShellExView utility and found it can get the shell extension icon. Now i have a question, can anyone please tell how to get the extension icon?
For example the WinRAR icon, in "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\WinRAR" or "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\ShellEx\ContextMenuHandlers\WinRAR", the default value point to the guid "{B41DB860-8EE4-11D2-9906-E49FADC173CA}", in "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{B41DB860-8EE4-11D2-9906-E49FADC173CA}\InProcServer32", it's value is "C:\Program Files\WinRAR\rarext.dll", but no icons in the file "rarext.dll", how to get the right winrar context menu icon? thank you very much.

Thank you, but you did not understand my meaning, i want to know how to get the icon, do not want to use a software to get it.

Oh ok. I'm not really good at this sort of stuff.
I would be looking in the executable file though. I think I managed to get an icon from an executable using Reshack. I'm not sure, just my 2 cents.

I don't think he want to extract the icon. If I've understood correctly, the TS has a shell extension installed that handles RAR files, and it is not correctly displayingthe icon.

Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the RAR shell extension? If that does not help, then perhaps downloading and installing a newer version of WinRAR?

Oh, so now you want to build a program? I'm kind of confused. Is it possible to have a peek at the icon extraction programs above? Then you could get an idea of what you need to do. Either that or I have got this terribly wrong.
    Also, who is "we"?
