User Folders - Change Default Location
@Stereo: No.
If you follow the instructions above to properly move your documents folder, windows redirects anything that points to "my documents" to the new folder by way of symbolic link or junction. So any file or subfolder that resides in the user documents on C:\ will actually be linked from the new location, including the savegames.
Right. I tried that about 2 weeks ago ( i have always a backup ) and when i started GRID, the game couldn't find the saved games in D / My Documents , so i was asked to create a new profile for that game.
Maybe it's a good idea to reinstall that game, and before that,i should move the My Documents folder in the D partition ?

They will save themselves again in another "new create " My Documents folder,in C ?
How do you save those games? Usually you can define the folder to where they are being saved.
I don't know, but i think that's not possible.
But if you can do that, just tell me, please, how do you save some games ( Grid, Crysis ) into another folder ?!
Are you talking about the download of the game or the installation of the game. In both cases they would not typically end up in the Documents folder but either in the Download folder or the Program Files folder. But both can be changed so that they end up in whichever folder you like.

I'm talking only about the SAVED GAMES.
A lot of games have this folder - My Documents , as default folder for saved games.

Next time you save a game, just change the destination folder.

I'm sorry, but that's not possible for some games.

Most games I have store the savegames data in documents like you said.
But its not uncommon for some games to use the hidden AppData or LocalSettings in the users root folder...
Perhaps this is the case?

I have now installed 3 games. All of them have the "saved games" in My Documents.
Few days ago i forgot to save them in D or E, and i recovered my PC,using Acronis.
That was my idea to have this My Documents folder in D or E partition.

To get back to your original question: If you move the folder to a different partition (D,E,F or whatever) using the location tab in the folder's properties, then that will be the location which the system will know from then on and anything that used to be stored in that folder at the C location will now go to that folder in the new location.
If you need more detail guidance how to do the move correctly, let me know.

Okay, i'll try again, now.
I will remove My Documents folder into the D partition.
After that i will start the GRID game. In My Documents folder is the saved games for GRID. If the game ask me again to create a new profile, that means, the game doesent find the saved games folder, i'll uninstall the game, reinstall it, with the My Documents folder in D already. That should work.
I report later. Thanks.

Yes. I removed My Documents folder on D partition, started the GRID game, and it's fine.
It's working.
Thanks a million.
