    Explorer stopped working (64bit RC1)

Whenever I open the "My Videos" library which is linked to a Movies folder on an encrypted drive the explorer crashed.

    Only then but reproduceable.
It worked fine for the first few days.
I can still get to sub directories if I type in the path directly.
The page loads even with thumbnails but then crashes.
    I have 64bit RC1

Does anyone have an idea what this might be?

    Edit:
Ahh, windows now shows me a problem with the ffdshow codec. Tried to update it to beta 6 but didnt help. But maybe thats because I dont have a clue what to select in the install dialog. I just dont understand codec stuff.

Uninstall the ffdshow codec and see if that fixes it.

I have a similar problem, when I let DFX codec working in WMP, the IE doesn’t play some videos and my WPM stop working; later show me a message saying that a error happens.
Did you know if that codec works in W7?
I send an email to DFX support and their told me that a lot of plug-in doesn’t work in W7 because it’s a beta version and the codec’s will be release when the S.O out complete...I uninstall the codec and its working here...hope that this works for you
