Turning off handwriting recognition

I would like to sign a document and turn off handwriting recognition.

When I am in Wordpad, the tablet pc input panel tries to convert anything I sign into text. What I want to do is to just have the signature to be put into the document without it being turned into text.

Would like to sign the document without my signature turned into text.
Am using win 7 64bit Professional.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks but that is not what I want.
I want to put my signature on a document and not have it interpreted as text.

Have googled for the answer and the entries show how to turn off the input pad.
