Gadgets that recognizes Cpu Overclock?

Does anyone know of a sidebar gadget that recognizes overclock? , cause the ones I've tried just report the stock speeds, and also if there is a Cpu-z like gadget. I've been to google and can't seem to find one.

Thanks!

Yeah, been there, done that. Even ones that claim to show actual clock speed only show stock clock for me. Hoever, if you have everest Ultimate, you can use this and it shows real clock plus much more if you chose. Everest must run at startup to make it work though. Hoping someone else has some that work.

Some report this works fine for them, didn't for me

I use IntelCoreSeries24.gadget, it shows the OC speed, CPU utilization, and also displays core temps (as accurate as Core Temp). It also displays memory used.

Core Temp - Add Ons

Hi,

Have a look at this one, it's made by a German guy but it's in English.

Core temp works. However you need to install another software which is a drag. The Orb software works great. In order for you to get max out of it-need to install the driver. The Windows gadget is quite small too which is a big plus. Displays vcore too.

Intel Core Series works fine. It's still available here: Intel Core Series Free Download (You need to install driver in it's config window)

The others lie. Although some can determine the multiplier, but they assume default clock frequency. So what they show is not true.

This is not true. The Core Temp gadget reports the correct clock. A Guy

I didn't try that one. The gadget by it's own is not functional, I have to install an external program too.
Intel Core Series was more straightforward.

Since I use Core Temp as well, it was an easy choice ;) The gadget gives you all kinds of customization choices as well.
