I would spend more time in the school books by doing the best you can.

The graphics will always be there to dabble in when the homework is done and you have some free time.

No no of course i'll spend more time in the University but i could work on graphics on my spare time, basically my career has to do a little bit with "Graphics Design" too (i'm studying "Marketing and Advertising", it has to do mostly with the Advertising part of my career), so learning some things would be nice. That way i'd be familiar with the programs and how to work with them.

BTW, got a big test and an expo tomorrow. See you guys tomorrow good night

If you want to learn how to apply the programs, I am sure that you could learn a lot within August ; but creativity is your own, the program cannot do it , and learning completely is a Herculean task ..... a little number of people can achive the complete knowledge . Try to follow PooMan UK , that's the best way to learn . We all will be glad if we could contribute in your learning process .

The last I remember was that graphics has a lot to do with Marketing and Advertising!
A creative mind will find a way to see the client, sell him on a creative idea that only you can provide him and then you need to graphically paint him a picture of why he needs you accomplish this. IMHO

Nick taught me a little trick in making perfect circles or orbs...
After selecting the circle tool hold the control key and then start dragging you circle tool. Then you can pull on the corners to enlarge or shrink the circle evenly...
This will make your logo's in your sig appear round not oblong.
Just a helpful hint if you so choose. Wax on Wax off type of lesson from the Master...
