Solved Cannot access to slui.exe

When i press the "Activate Windows now" or "Change product key" it then appear "Windows cannot access the specified device,path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item". So what the hell should i do?

Anyway, is this website trusted?

Try this method:

Click Start and type slui.exe 4 then press Enter to invoke the Activation Wizard.

Use the drop-down list to choose your area then call the number.

You'll be asked how many computers you've installed the software on (one, naturally) and will be asked to punch in the Installation ID using your telephone touchpad.

If that is accepted you'll be given the Activation ID. Instead of entering it straightaway, write it down so that you have a copy, and then enter it in the Activation ID fields.

Click Next and you should have an activated version of Windows.

No, they are NOT to be trusted. At risk of lawyers breaking my front door down, I cannot explicitly say that they are a scam or malicious, but they are not effective, and not to be trusted.

Generally, if you can't access slui.exe, that may mean that the Windows Activation Technology may have been hacked, as that is what WAT hacking software does to illegally activate Windows. May I ask, did someone install Windows 7 for you? If they did illegally activate it, it doesn't necessarily mean that Microsoft is going to blast down your front door and arrest you.

Okey, Ladies and gentleman i am very new to this forum but i have the knowledge of how to fix this issue.
i feel that i need to share this with you guys. OK first of all You have been denied to use the slui.exe correct?
i am also sure that you tried to open it as admin. OK what i did here was a simple thing. this is also the same for example if you want to open or replace a file and tells you that you do not have permission to do so. well please follow me and sorry for my bad English to........ what i did here is go to C:/windows(right click) properties/security tab/advanced un check the box(include heritable permissions from this object's parent). it will of course give you extra permission it worked for me so...
